The Galesburg Downtown Development Authority is always seeking more involvment from the community, in specific members for our committees. Please scroll down to print out a committee application. Our committees can meet as little or as often as the group determines with a minimum of once a month. We have posted some ideas and topics that some of the committees may want to consider working on in the future. Grants/Funding - Funding through grants and taxes Fundraising - Funding through fundraising projects (i.e. GGD, raffles, fall festival, etc.) Historic/Arts/Culture Mobility/Transportation- Sidewalks, Roads, Trails, Parking Business Development- Businesses for sale, Attract new business, Help those who want to expand Appearance - Landscaping, Flowers, Benches, Trash bins, Color Schemes, Signage, Paint Community Outreach- Getting and keeping community involved |
