  • Galesburg voted "Great Place to Raise Kids" volted #49 nationwide in Business Weekly on November 16, 2007

  • Galesburg Augusta School recognized with a Bronze Medal by US News and World Report, this out of 21,000 schools.

  • October 29, 2007 and September 29, 2008  we held our 1st and 2nd Fall Festival for the community. Everyone enjoyed vendors, food, childrens games, a magician and wonderful music in the evening, plus a beer tent the 2nd festival.  These were both held in the Park behind City Hall.
