The Galesburg Downtown Development Authority offers several types of grants to residents and business
owners in Galesburg in order to help facilitate progress and improvements.
Below are the current grants available. (Note: If the download link isn't working, chances are the grant is not currently available,
so keep checking back) Curb Appeal Grant In order to stimulate improvement in homes and businesses within the DDA district the Curb Appeal Grant was created for business or residents, within the DDA district, that want to make improvements to their home or business. This grant only applies to the area between the curb and the front of your home or business for things such as, but not limited to, decorative fence improvements, new stairs to replace old ones, decorative landscaping improvements, sidewalks (not municipal), new shutters, new front door, awnings and more. This grant is intended to help homeowners and businesses improve their curb appeal. Preference will be shown to applicants that are improving or restoring historical elements.
